Who we are
This website, symtho.com, is operated by SYMTHO AI ApS, CVR 46180224, Copenhagen, Denmark ("Symtho", "we", "us"). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at contact@symtho.com.
What this policy covers
This policy covers personal data collected through this website: the launch list, messages you send us, and technical data created when you visit the site. The Symtho service itself is delivered to end users through licensed healthcare partners, and the handling of data inside the service is described in the privacy notice provided by the partner offering the service to you.
Launch list
If you join the launch list, we collect your email address and the time and date of your consent. We use this only to send you updates about the Symtho launch. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email from us or by writing to contact@symtho.com. We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or until launch communications have ended, and then we delete it. Launch list data is stored with Mailchimp (Intuit Inc.), which operates our email list on our behalf.
When you contact us
If you email us or use a contact form on the site, we process your name, email address and the content of your message in order to reply to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). We keep this correspondence for up to 12 months after the last contact, unless a longer period is required to document an agreement.
Technical data and cookies
When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, in order to deliver the site securely and to detect abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns; it is privacy-friendly, does not use tracking cookies, and does not identify you or track you across other websites.
Who receives your data
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with partners, advertisers or investors. Your data is processed by the service providers named above, who act on our instructions under data processing agreements. Where a provider processes data outside the EU or EEA, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to our processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@symtho.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, www.datatilsynet.dk.
Children
This website and the launch list are intended for adults aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be announced on this page.
